Good Evening Children,
It makes me very happy to see the hard work and planning that you ALL are putting into your work. It is also wonderful to see that the Group Leaders are being able to guide their group members to help them plan their work. Record Keepers please help your group leaders by maintaining the schedule fixed by your GL's. It is also your duty to keep track of the work done by the members and report to your GL's and your teacher.
I am pleased to see the effort being put by Affan in understanding and trying to complete his work in time. Please keep up the good work and do not slow down on the effort you are putting in. Nameer is also showing some effort and I am sure you will be able to produce much better results very soon. This week about this two children. Every day we shall hear about two children from now on.
All of you do remember that the EXHIBITION is drawing near. It is a time when all of you will have to work on projects on your own. You will need to develop an idea and CREATE a Central Idea, IDENTIFY Lines OF Inquiry on which you can work, COLLECT EVIDENCE from around the world on the topic chosen by you, RESEARCH the idea in the area that you live in and PRESENT your findings and understanding to everyone... a real WIIFM opportunity. All that you are doing now is a build up to that. So keep up the good work ALL OF YOU.
Here is a poem I wanted to share with you...

The Chrysalis-A Butterfly Story
A man found the cocoon of a butterfly.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to force its body
through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress.
It appeared as if it had gotten as far
as it could and could go no further.
One day a small opening appeared.
He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours
as it struggled to force its body
through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress.
It appeared as if it had gotten as far
as it could and could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily.
But it had a swollen body
and small, shriveled wings.
He took a pair of scissors and
snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.
The butterfly then emerged easily.
But it had a swollen body
and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly
because he expected that, at any moment,
the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support
the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened!
In fact, the butterfly spent
the rest of its life crawling around
with a swollen body and shriveled wings.
It never was able to fly.

the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support
the body, which would contract in time.

In fact, the butterfly spent
the rest of its life crawling around
with a swollen body and shriveled wings.
It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste
did not understand was
that the restricting cocoon and
the struggle required for the butterfly
to get through the tiny opening
were God's way of forcing fluid
from the body of the butterfly into its wings
so that it would be ready for flight
once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly
what we need in our life.
If God allowed us to go through our life
without any obstacles,
it would cripple us.
We would not be as strong
as we could have been.
And we could never fly.
So have a nice day...
and struggle a little.

Excellent way to inspire and motivate the kids Sir. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs, Vasantha for these kind words. The children are showing increasingly more involvement in their work and need help in learning how to organise and plan themselves...without losing out the FUN in their work.
DeleteI hope you can motivate Avinash to keep doing the work of planning hat he has already taken up and also find a way to organise his work plan in studies.
Thank you also for the support
This was very inspirational and i loved the last 2 lines.
